Night diving is a window to a new underwater world as the life and activity on the reef are totally different from what is found during day diving.
Corals are more active and eat. Different species of shrimp, crabs, etc. Turtles and some fish sleep under the corals, while octopus hunts. The colors under the light of the diving lamps will bring- on a more vivid color than what sunlight normally provides them, in conditions of total darkness the luminescence of the plankton can be appreciated, but above all the sensation of being weightless in the dark is incomparable with any other sensation that can be experienced within our planet.
Any of the dive sites off the coast of Mahahual usually between 10 and 15 meters.
